Ten Commandments Granite and Marble first started sponsoring children with Compassion in 2005, with only a couple of children. We now sponsor 12 children from 8yrs to 15yrs old. They come from many different countries such as: Haiti, Brazil, Rwanda, Uganda, Colombia, India, Ecuador, El Salvador, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Burkina Faso, Philippines and Thailand. Our staff love receiving the letters and pictures that the children send us.

About Compassion

Compassion is an international Christian child development and child advocacy ministry committed to working in partnership with local churches to foster the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional development of children living in extreme poverty in over 25 developing countries. Compassion’s ministry to children in distinctly Christian.

Compassion’s holistic child development programs minister to the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional needs of children throughout all stages of development; from the womb to university.

Programs operate exclusively through local churches in developing countries; providing resources, training and expertise to assist in the operation of holistic child development programs. Local churches are empowered to develop Compassion’s programs towards meeting the specific and individual needs of the children within their local communities.

Compassion works with the poorest of the poor children, and their communities, in many developing countries around the world in Africa, Asia, Central and South America.

Compassion has 10 partner country offices around the world, which provide the funds, resources, and assistance with program development for the successful implementation of Compassion’s programs in the field.
